Our surface facility construction exceeds the standards for liquid waste storage. In addition to the concrete secondary containment system for the tank storage area, the entire footprint of the operational area of the plant is underlain by a layer of gravel above a HDPE plastic liner. This french drain system allows us to monitor the interstitial layer for leaks in the overlying secondary containment system- as unlikely as that might be - and the ability to pump any accumulated water. All piping from the process area to the wellhead are above-ground and double-cased so that any water leaving the primary pipe is returned to the process area. All major components of the surface facility have a backup redundancy ensuring reliability of our services.
We treat truck waiting time like we are spending our own money. It is our commitment to get you safely in and out of our facility as quickly as possible. If a waste shipment arrives that varies from the approved waste stream, Union staff work quickly to determine if the waste can be received within our acceptance parameters. Our team acts with a sense of urgency to provide customers with options to resolve any issues. Union obtains third-party analytical from an independent, NELAP-certified laboratory prior to waste profile approval to ensure accuracy and to protect the safe and compliant operation of our facility. Union’s on-site laboratory also provides pre-acceptance testing for waste profile approval, as well as fingerprint analysis upon the arrival of each waste load entering the facility for disposal. Pre-acceptance analytical results are compared to fingerprint results from load shipments to ensure waste loads conform to the approved waste profile. We provide documented training to our operators and technicians ensuring you are getting the best possible service.

We have 100% above ground tankage and plumbing for processing your wastewater to ensure compliance. Our well is over a mile deep and goes through annual MIT (Mechanical Integrity Testing) governed by TCEQ, UIC and the EPA is tested to the highest standards.
